Recapturing the Spirit of Worship

There is far too much noise in church sometimes. In the name of praise, we applaud to show our love, we shout to show our agreement . . . I long for a protracted holy silence that indicates people sense something for which they should keep their mouths shut and listen.

We get nervous when things get too quiet--something we need to resolve.
